Black Pastel Mojave update

insangelic Apr 29, 2010 09:26 PM

It's funny how cleaning always leads to an impromptu photo session. Enjoy!

Fresh out of the egg many moons ago. (2 BPM on top)

The lighter BPM before...

After... (500ish grams)

Just loving the pattern

The color variation is awesome between the two.

Very nice! Was that the entire clutch? If so pretty good odds

Thanks!!! It's not visually a dramatic combo but I'm digging it the bigger they get. The clutch consisted of 6 eggs... with the odds right on target. 2 normals, 1 black pastel, 1 mojave, and 2 wonderful BPM. (Note: They were hatched September of 09)

It just dawned on me...if you bred a black pastel mojave to a black pastel mojave....and hit the odds...what will happen?
Grey snake with blue eyes? That would be awesome.

you cant get a super black pastel/ super mojave because of different allels or something like that. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in.
