An update....

Gregg_M_Madden May 02, 2010 09:56 AM

These are my Mexican hogs I got from Brad Chambers on November 24th 2009... They were about 6 grams or so when I got them... They came in eating like pigs and they have not stopped... Really awesome pair... They are growing so fast...

These are my Red Phase Westerns that I also got from Brad... I got this pair at the 09 Daytona show in August... They were also about 6 grams or so when I got them... This pair also started out great... They will eat any time food is offered and are growing fast... The male has already bred one of my other females and the female will be ready to breed by next season for sure...

That female red is very nice.

I want to pick up some Mexicans this year for sure. They are just so interesting.

I have a pair of reds that are sibs to yours. I'm betting yours are much better looking in person, like mine are. I have a hard time capturing the true colors of this line.

Thanks guys...

Kevin,
The reds in them are a bit deeper and the yellow cream background really makes them pop... Same as you, it is hard for me to get the camera to capture their true coloration...

I have seen a few other lines of red phase but these are my favorite overall... Good eaters, fast grower, great temperment, and awesome color... And the male is a horndog... LOL...

Looking good, Gregg! My holdbacks from those clutches are looking similar.

I've got several gravid hogs at the moment. I'll post pics when I have some clutches on the ground.
