Piece of Reeses' w poss future mate..

JasonRobeck May 03, 2010 12:54 PM

It was a nice day here in SoCal yesterday and I couldn't resist taking a couple shots. The female in these shots is still a couple seasons away from producing anything for me, but it's still fun to think about what could be.

Male Reeses' Piece. This fellow wouldn't sit still for a good shot but his oranges and pinks were really popping yesterday.

This girl just keeps getting better looking with every shed. My fingers will be crossed for the 2012 breeding season.

For this year I'm still waiting for my first litter. With two months to go yet I'm already wearing a track in carpet in front of the females cages. This girl looks ready to pop already. It should be a nice big litter.

Thanks Dave. I think he's coming along nicely and I've got a couple girls I'd like to pair him with. The waiting is part of the fun though.

What locality were those? Very healthy specimens. I wish you the best of luck with your breeding projects.
