Thanks Toby. This is my first year attempting to breed them so I'm pretty happy. I have another pair that will be large enough next year.

This IS your year my brother!!!

randywhittington May 05, 2010 07:29 AM

Thanks a lot Rodney! If I can hatch one that will be ratsnake subspecies #14. Nothing excites me more than hatching something new for the first time.

That is very impressive Randy. Your my idol. Good luck with hatching them. That's definitely a species I would love to work with some day.

Thanks Matt. Yea I hope to hatch a full clutch but to be honest I'll be happy to just see at least one little head peek out the first year with this species. I've had some friends to have bad luck with the species year after year yet another friend to do great with them.

Hey Congrats

I am one of those that just can't get it....

I've bred mine for 3 years. 1st year 3 good 3 slugs the three good went bad in 2-3 weeks, 2nd year she dropped all in water (my bad), 3rd year 9 slugs!

I guess I'll keep trying.

Keep us up to date
