Need advice please(cuban rock ig)

rustynail777 May 04, 2010 10:57 PM

I recently put 2 cubans outside, they are doing well.

I built a second enclosure, and have put another little guy in there by himself.
He is basking, using hide box ect.
BUT not eating. I mean nothing......he had a small piece of banana and thats it. He wont even take crickets. Its been 5 days now.

I am leaning towards bringing him back inside(I could always put my chuckwallas in that cage)

But the other part of me says to leave him out there, and he will eat eventually.

It is starting to get hot though and I dont want him dehydrating.

Hes only a year old,so bringing him in is no big deal,I would probably just try again next year.
But he would be missing out on the real sun, tons of space ect.

So what do you think I should do?

Thanks!

Well today,he actually took a couple pieces of cilantro from me.Its not much but at least maybe he is taking a turn for the better.

He is basking and shading ,and exploring so I may just tough it out and leave him out for his own good.

Its alot better for him then being stuck inside, now I just have to get him to buy into that.
