Feeding question

brianm616 May 05, 2010 05:32 PM

I have two LTC WC corns. Both are very calm and handle-able and took to F/T without issue. Now, I've had both of these girls for a while and, although they're both great feeders, they've never eaten anything offered face first. Even if I make the mice dance, once released from coiling they go at it ass first again.

I know it hasn't caused them any issues, other than being a less energy efficient meal, I was wondering if anyone has had a snake that continually choose to take the more labored route with its dinner?

Yes. I know several other breeders who've told me the same thing: That some of their snakes prefer to eat their food butt-first. I don't reckon snakes are the smartest animals in the world!
