Here is a pic of a 84" male Fl. Pine from Sarasota, pic taken in 95' the snake was run over by an animal services officer early in the AM and regerged a baby racoon before dieing a few weeks later.

Really sad story. Hopefully that animal services officer found a new profession.
Too bad you didn't get pic with some size reference.

I have still only seen that one lone male pine from my home town of sarasota in 40 years, n I think the fence rail is 6 inches wide so it can be a good reference for scale in that pic, that snake was three inches in diameter when it got fiesty, like a beer can.

Here's a repost of the two big lineaticollis we have here. The pics were taken last October. The female is around 7' and the male is somewhere over 7'
The female

and the last one is the male

Nice snakes!

If I remember correctly they're about 5-6 years old. A buddy brought them up from the US last October. I think from Scott @ Amazon so he might recall.
They're living here & we're trying to see if we can have more luck hatching out some eggs (hopefully). Apparently this pair had produced eggs the last couple of years but whoever sold them to Scott didn't have any luck hatching them. She looks to be gravid so now it's just the waiting to see how it goes.

I've also asked a couple times for pics of big bulls pines gophers etc, but similarly in the past the forum didn't receive too many photos. The folks that do share have awesome animals and it's great that they share, but a lot of breeders and keepers rarely show their adult animals it seems, based on the large number of young and juvenile pics that we see on here!

Yeah. With kings/milks, the babies through subadults look about as good as the snake will ever look if color is the parameter.
With pits, I always think the babies/juvies look the most drab, while the adults can be amazing. Especially amels and such.

oh yes very true. I hope my bull keeps her pattern and colors though. A lot of adult bulls seem to get washed out.
