spoils of looting the NH show :D (long)

Well it was quite difficult not to spend a gazillion dollars, but I think it went well.

I got a little female opal aztec from PMHerps. She's beautiful, but a complete spaz. She bites like a maniac. (three times, and this was just from the plastic tub to the tank) I hope she can't break her teeth on me? Couldn't feel a thing, but there she was, hanging off my finger like an anole or something. I waited until she let go on her own, since I didn't want to pull.

I haven't given her a name yet, I think I'll wait to see if she calms down. And hopefully I'll be getting a good camera soon, so I can take pictures. She's got great pattern/colour.

Lots of beautiful baby corns there (of course, I love my baby the best ) Some adults slithering around as well. Someone had a beautiful adult blizzard. Couldn't find a single lavender though. (plenty of hets for)

Toooooo many small children. -__-

Spent too much time drooling all over the NERD table. They had a gorgeous pied that was 80% white. And all the little spider babies were adorable. Had to leave before my wallet started screaming at me.

If anybody else was there, I was the one squealing over all the tiny dart frogs. TOO CUTE. Nothing should be allowed to be that tiny and cute. It defies the laws of physics or something.

I bought my s.o. a little male Jackson. That thing is hilarious. I had to pull it off his face a few times because it could climb _fast_. I got a tank (cage? it's screen) and some live plants for him too.

My mother spent the entire time trying to convince me to get a beardie instead. I'm holding out for a DragonsDen leucistic though. She's already warmed up though, she's just dramatic.

We ended up at the pet store on the way home to pick up stuff for the Jackson, and we brought our new babies in to show off (we're always in there with the BP and the beardie, they know us by name). Everybody went nuts over the chameleon, my poor baby got ignored. I had to hold her up to the cornsnake tank so they could see the difference.

All in all it went well. I got what I wanted, we came home with an unexpected addition, and I didn't spend a disturbing amount of money.

besides defying the laws of physics, they tug at your wallet like bandits. sounds like you had a blast, and its always good to not spend disturbing amounts of money, even if your significant other has to drag you out kicking and screaming the whole way.
glad you had fun
