Doing a speech need info

Skyz May 25, 2003 08:53 PM

I'm doing a speech for my high school speech class. I'm 18 years old and i rescued my first burm 3 years ago. I own 3 burms of my own and have two others i'm temporarly trying to find a home for. They range from 4 feet to a little over 11 feet. I'm doing my speech over "Should the city ban individuals from owning large constrictors?" I say no it shouldn't. I am trying to find information on statistics on things such as people killed/injured by large snakes. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good sites over this topic? Or any topic that may help me in my speech?

Thankz,
Skyz

Skyz,

I don't know if this will be any help, but there is an article in the June 1997 issue of Reptiles magazine, titled:
"Playing With the Big Boys...Handling Large Constrictors." If you do not have access to this issue, I am sure you can access the article by going to Reptilesmagizine.com and clicking on articles. I hope this is some help for you!!! Good luck on the research!!!!
