After some time spent surfing the web looking for viable and easy backgrounds for my herp friends, collared lizards. I have decided to build a background, what I need is some input on a material I can build a background out of.
I use thin cut lime stone and glue it to the back.It looks nice but is on the very heavy side.

What do you use as a background?
Try making a 3D back ground. Take some corregated cardboard and make a box a few inches deep(depending on space) paint it black or blue, and fill it with live potted plants, driftwood, lava rocks, Moss etc.
