dying dragon?

PGMcGee Sep 22, 2003 11:53 AM

I think my female dragon is dying. She's 5 1/2 years old, and won't eat. She is twisting her head to the side all the time, keeping it in that position, and curving her body too. Is this a normal age to lose a female? She's had 4 clutches in her lifetime, and I thought maybe female breeders possibly don't live that long. Any ideas why she would be twisting her head and body?? Thanks.

Pat

when did she eat last, when did she poop last? could she have something stuck in her throat? when was her last clutch? if you are concerned about her i would get her to a herp vet and have her checked out, people here can make a guess but only a vet will be able to diagnose and possibly treat your girl, best of luck, let us know how she does.
