Update on Baby Albino Fat Tail....Pics

jeanne Sep 22, 2003 12:17 PM

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would give an update on my baby FT, first of all, I named him Syndey and he is doing awesome! He was 7 days old yesterday and ate 2 small crickets. I was so happy. His color is already changing. He is showing more orange coloration already. The picture is pretty bad, but you can see the orange coming in trough the yellow.

And, here is a picture of his parents, not sure which albino female is his mother, that is the father in the middle, he is 100% het for Albino

And, here is a picture of my Female from Masterpeice gecko. She is going to make an awesome breeder next year!

Thanks

Hi

I saw your pictures and they are beautiful.

I was looking at the picture of the three adults and I would bet you money that the mother of the baby is the one to the right of the father. There is a noticeable size difference around the stomache area compared to the other one.

Not to be mean, honest, but if you are feeding those size crickets to the baby that I saw in the picture of it, it looks to big for the baby and you should go smaller. Just a suggestion and your baby is beautiful, congratulations!!!.

Sincerely, TLB

Thanks for the compliment! They are my pride and joy.

As for the mother, you really can't go by the size of the stomach of the Geckos because they both laid eggs so it could be either of them. Both mothers are extremely healthy and from the same blood lines so it doesn't really matter which one it came from. (The mothers are from Golden Gecko and the father is from Urban Gecko blood line)

I took that cricket out right after I took the picture. I realized it was too big for him when I put it in there with him. I am only using it as a reference as to how big (well, actually how small) the gecko is in the picture.

Thanks again for the compliment on my geckos!
