How do I ship a large 6 foot water?

c22 Sep 22, 2003 12:26 PM

How would a non verified shipper go about shipping a larger water monitor? I have checked with delta and they won't allow it unless I am verified. Is there any other way? I think she is too big to ship through UPS or USPS. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the logistics of shipping large animals are daunting for even the most experienced shipper.

you would probably need a wood crate for a healthy 6 ft Water.

and airline freight is going to be your most economical option, although it could be a few hundred bucks alone. without being verified, there is little hope of shipping with someone like Delta. you could try and get a verified shipper to do it for you, for a fee, but i wouldn't even bother with that type of headache if someone approached me about it, you may be hard pressed to find someone that will. and then that is more money on top of the shipping fee.

you didn't explain why you needed to ship, but hopefully you have other options, because shipping a giant lizard is probably going to be more money than it is worth for you...
