The copperhead is nice to look at, but the great plains rats are awesome and something you can pickup and handle. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Would you believe those are a lifer for me? I've never found one. Doesn't help I'm only their range 2-5 days a year. Nice finds

If it doesn't stay too cool after the storms finish up here, you should see tons of those. I saw plenty here in Ellis county during the 08 hurricane season. None last summer, but I did get one about 12 days ago (which I'm still trying to get in my PC & posted here.). Hopefully, an omen for an interesting Field Season!
