Both parents proved out.. no longer possible hets are they.

Female: dh Snow

8 egg clutch laid 3/18/10 and started hatching 5/10/10.

4 of the 8 babies are out of the egg (shown in photo).
Still waiting on the other 4 to come out.
First out of the egg a Jolliff SNOW !

Does the snow have little patches of yellow? Do they disappear with age?

Thanks. It has been a very long term project. Nice to finally see some results.

There is some yellow. Right now if you look very close in the photo it blends in against the pinker tones of the white areas making it difficult to see. May or may not become more visible with time.

This is actually the first clutch of a first time laying female. The female is the daughter of the male and we hatched her in 2007. She took after her mother in large size/appetite and got up to breeding size really quick and laid a better than expected clutch size. To get 7 visible morphs so neatly divided out of 8 eggs is sweet. At the very least all we wanted to see was an albino to know that male was indeed a het snow, and the first out of the egg was the snow. Originally we were going to breed the axanthic to an albino het snow to prove him out, but the albino of course was such a picky eater for several years and then when she finally got up to breeding weight/size, there was no real interest between the two.
