stump tail tanzanian chameleon

anichcha Sep 22, 2003 01:37 PM

hey all

gary, my adorable rhampoleon brevicaudatus, died recently of an untreatable eye infection. i tried to give him a wonderful life, but all i could do was just not enough

i know that i am a great chameleon mommy -- my panther, however insipid, has no grounds for complaint against me other than i exist and that he hates me on tuesdays, saturdays, and the entire month of june (otherwise we're fine).

i love stump tail chams, esp. the rhamp. species, so i beg you: where can i find a healthy pair online? my "real life" distributor is "fresh out," and i am desperately hoping to fill a living terrarium with happy, healthy lil rham. brevs.

any and all info greatly appreciated

maddy

Hi Maddy...I'm so sorry to hear about your little Pygmy. I recently lost a WC pygmy to an eye problem that went away, came back and then did her in. It's so sad to lose them when we get so attached...and it seems when they have problems and you're having to do special things for them, that you get even more attached.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you to check out the Kingsnake classifieds. First Choice Reptiles has some CB baby R. Brev's available from a few different bloodlines...I got my Carpet cham from him, and he's nice to deal with. I hope I'm allowed to say this on here...but, hey...I'm just pointing you over to the classifieds section.

Take care!
Kristen

thanks so much for your kind words ... losing gary was horrific: he had mega personality to compensate for his tiny stature -- he was, indeed, a good lil buddy And he is missed dearly. i will check out the classifieds and will hopefully find some lilluns. happy chamming, and may all your non-human babies live healthfully, happily, and as naturally as possible

regards, maddy
