final count, more pics... arg sunglows

NUCCIZ_BOAS May 17, 2010 03:46 AM

I was going to hold off on posting more pics until after they shed, but boredom, a camera, tons of babies, and being extremely excited don't mix well when it comes to having patience to share them with everybody. I am SUPER happy with this litter, especially considering I produced and raised the mother up myself over the last 4 years.

The final count of this litter was 37 live babies, 1 slug, and 1 premie.

13 Argentines 66% het albino
17 Salmontines 66% het albino
2 Argentine Albinos
5 Argentine sunglows

Considering these babies are 50% argentine from an argentine het albino x salmontine het albino, I can't wait to see how they look after they shed, and how they mature over the next several months. Looks like a litter full of keepers! And the salmontines are all different from one another, don't even look related to eachother.

This first sunglow I think may be a keeper. It is a female, She has a very jungley look to her, cant wait to see her shed!

Here is a pic of an AWESOME sunglow, and a crazy looking salmontine. I can't get over these salmontines from this litter, they are some of the goofiest things I have seen!

Some sunglows.....

I love these next 2 pictures, really show the different in colors in this litter. How different the salmontines look from eachother, and even the sunglows look different. Very cool pics I think! The second pic has a normal argentine sibling to show color contrast!

Here are a couple of AWESOME salmontines, again I can't get over the patterns and colors, awesome looking

This next pic might be a keeper, if not keep both of them. Look at the boa on the bottom, his head is almost completely black, unlike the rest in the litter. Very cool
