Axanthic Mexican Update. Eggs Are Here!!

Jon R May 17, 2010 10:32 PM

Came home today to find our female S.E. Arizona kennerlyi hangin' out with 14 perfect eggs. She's from a locale just a few miles from where the axanthic was found. She's a very dark specimen, so I hope her offspring will produce some hot looking axanthics.

Now the long wait begins!!

Tell me about it. It's been just 8 months since I found him and there are eggs on the ground! This whole project couldn't have gone any better up to this point. The axanthic fed and grew like a captive born western and was up to breeding size before I knew it. To top it off, I just happened to have a long term captive female waiting to reproduce this year. Everything just fell into place with this one.
