Snake rack started

Hognosedude11 May 18, 2010 01:15 AM

Ok this is the rack that I was talking about in the thermostat question post. It holds 33 tubs instead of 30 like originally thaught Now all I have to do is put the heat tape and thermostat in and it's ready for snakes!!!! 4 feet of 3 inch flexwatt per shelf, for a total of 44 feet. 1 HELIX or HERPSTAT should be good enough huh?

First pic is me 5'11"
Last pics i my cousin 6'4"

just for a size reference lol it's BIG!!!

Very nice simple rack.

You may need to add some center supports as it will sage over time. I've found over the years that melimine (sp?) with a span over 2 feet will sage.

Let's see some of those future occupants.

The rack looks good bud.. Please post up some pics when your all set up.

Here is part of my herp room, I made the tall brown racks, the others were purchased (it's MUCH easier that way!)
