This seems to work pretty good for scenting Pinks. As I catch lizards I put them in a bucket and as time goes by the lizards shed and pooh. After a while I get a pretty good container of scenting material to rub pinkies in which alterna seem like. Anyways you can only imagine how long it takes to fill a deli container full of lizard pooh.

I've had some success recently with putting some mice in a freezer bag with a mix of different western lizard species. I leave them in there for a few days, then thaw the mice out as normal. A couple of alterna that would not feed to save their lives were feeding on the scented mice in a matter of minutes.

Bottom line is you have to try everything to figure out what each one wants to eat.

I dry a few lizards out and then grind them up into powder then use it in a shake and bake type manner.
