pebbles and bam bam got moved to their new cage yesterday afternoon. i just have a really big rock on top of two bricks. when i moved them i put them both on top of the really big rock and both of my parents were really worried that they wouldnt be able to get up and down on their own. so i put their little log next to one of the bricks to kind of make steps. of course bam bam started running around right away up and down so i could see that he was fine. but i didn't see pebbles move and then suddenly she was under some other rocks so i assumed she was alright. but then when i was just feeding them they were both jumping straight to the ground from the rock and then right back up to the rock without any of the climbing tools. wow!

Yes, I must say, Bubba is the jumpinest lizard I have. One of the first things he did when we got him was jump straight from the bottom of the cage to the top screen.....and easily! After that he took a couple flying leaps from my hand with amazing accuracy onto things. I mean like 4 or 5 feet!

Do they get hurt when they keep hitting themselves on the glass and the mesh?

Not really. If they get hurt you'll see it. It'll be a small bump on the nose or somethign like that. It's usually nto a problem. They're tough little critters. They're built to get all knocked around. So unless they start getting visible wounds I wouldn't worry abotu it.
