Mole King photos- Foothills NC

westernNC May 18, 2010 08:21 PM

Had a few requests for photos a few weeks back. Just got back home on business and had nice overcast skies so snapped a few.

Adult male and subadult female L.c.rhombomaculata found about 10 feet apart at a tin site in foothills NC this April...loving the looks of both of these guys, especially the female's head pattern and pink ground color on her sides (not really evident in these pics).

Thanks for looking.

Michael

Nice. If she keeps those colors she'll be a great looking adult too.
Waiting on eggs from my AL, and panhandle FL females (4) as well as a VA I bred to one from the same locale as yours.
As always, SFMK are most anticipated.....

Is this the first year you have bred the Catawba female Mark? Let me know how it goes. She laid 19 eggs in 2006...a huge clutch for a rhombo.

Good luck!
