my newest litter(possible CA Ghost mots)

mike_panic May 18, 2010 10:01 PM

I say possible because I have no idea what I'm looking at with these guys. I bred a possible super Ghost Nicaraguan female from Tom Burke to a fully striped CA Motley poss het Anery male, also from Tom Burke. She had her litter tonight and it looks to be about 16 or so babies. Some are fully striped like her father. The problem is, how do I(if there are any) pick out the ghost motleys? I think for sure there is at least one anery there so I think I can safely say that the male proved out as a het but I havent hatched an anery boa yet so I dont know. Which are anery mots, which are hypo motsd? All these guestions. Are there enough hypos in the group to make mom a super? If she is a super, wouldnt that make a litter of mostly Ghosts and Hypos whether or not motley hooked up with them? Your opinions are welcome. The first photo or two is of the parents. Thanks a ton and sorry for the large file. Mike Panichi

I don't know what you got , but that is an impressive litter . In order for mom to have proven to be a Super , then all of the babies would be Hypos/Ghosts. If there are any that are normals , then she's not a Super. --- Congrats on a real cool litter. Those striped Motleys are very cool.

Congratulations Mike !! I'm not enough of a C.A. enthusiast to
make any Ghost or Anery here with these.

Especially because I can't even tell the mother is a Ghost Boa ha ha

As far as Mom being a Super it looks pretty good but I would have
to look at individual images of each and especially their tails.

Same for trying to identify Anery C.A. Boas

Great looking C.A. Mots the Reverse stripe babies seem to look
alot like dad so I'm thinking they are not hypo "IDK"

Great healthy litter mike !

Congrats on a super litter Mike.
The best/only way to see what you have is to wait for them all to shed out and then post photos again. Looks like some interesting babies in there ...

cheers, John

They look great Mike, as for what Larry said, have not produced enough CA anery or ghost stuff to help you much but they do look amazing. I love dad he is a stunner. It looks like there are some normals in there but it is hard to tell with that baby sheen. Like John said, let them shed out and post them again and go from there. Either way what an awesome litter. Congrats!!!!!!
