BP's next to be banned??

garweft May 19, 2010 04:57 PM

Well now that the ball is also rolling on getting amphibians banned it has me wondering if BP's are next.

I'm guessing they will go after all African species claiming the possibility of heartwater disease. It doesn't really matter if it's the truth.... It's not like truth means anything to the current rule change involving large constrictors.

I hope you haven't been sitting back saying it doesn't effect me.... because were next.

I think a lot of ball keepers have been kinda quiet, but I think if they attack us next...we will come out in force and show them what we think.

Half your support will already be gone.

They are going to knock us off in pieces! Ultimately, they want all exotic reptiles.... but for now it is easier to get rid of the big ones. Ball pythons "can" burrow to get away from cold temperatures so this means they could live in areas where there is colder weather. Fish and Wildlife has noted this!!!! WHAT????

Remember, they are noting the nine as dangerous invasives to the environment. The largest growing are the most dangerous? Not even close! More like scary and dangerous to people! The next wave will be smaller snakes that can quietly set up a population right under our noses. They will use the Brown Tree snake as a perfect example.

Just you wait, your snakes are NOT SAFE!!!!

To sit here and think that a Boa Constrictor may be illegal is a NIGHTMARE!!!!! I can not believe this is even a possibility!!

Everyone better start getting all pet owners involved ASAP! They will absolutely take us down a section of the pet trade at a time.

Some snakes, then all snakes. Some lizards, then all liards. Some amphibs, then all amphibs. Some fish, then all fish. Some birds, then all birds. Pretty soon, NO PETS!
