For red or orange dragons I would tell Ya to E-mail Chris Allen from WWW.jerseydragons.com, or ask Brandon at www.dragonsbynature.com Both great dragons. If you would like to see a few dragons I bought from Chris the last few years hit Mystical Dragons below and look at Foster, Candy, and Myah. All of these dragons were exceptional Foster growing to over 22 inches and 750 grams, but all extremely colorful, and what matters the most healthy, and off to a great start.

I live about three hours away from them and I was headed down south about 45 minutes from where they were located. I e-mailed them regarding their dragons and was inquiring about picking them up.

I got an e-mail saying that they were mail order only and because they live close shipping would be less. I decided not to buy from them, just because I feel that if they were reputable, they wouldn't have minded someone stopping buy to pick up a dragon. It would also be less stress considering how much longer shipping would take.

Just to point something out though..........I dont have anyone come to my house, but I am always willing to go and meet someone in person. I just dont want someone, who knows who they are, coming to my house and knowing more than what they need to know about me. People that i know have had their homes broken into and their collections stolen. So I am one of the people that would rather not take that chance. Not saying that is what Jason at beardeddragons.biz thinks, but it may be a possibility. Chris

Hey buddy you got to see all of mine... Actually I really enjoyed having you come over to see how all the babies I purchased from you were doing. You should come over soon to check out the Red. She is doing fantastic plus I got a few new additions to show you in person, and how the new setups look now. I'm making room In my storage room for the baby racks I would like you to check out as well. I think it's all coming together great. Talk to you later, soon to be neighbor , lol.

No doubt that would have made me run the other way as well. Would make me feel they had something to hide. I know personally if someone could come to my place to pick one out it would thrill me to be able to show off the parents, and my setups, and show them how I was raising the parents, and babies. Plus I really would rather if I never had to ship a dragon just for safety for them. You know but a breeder may have multiple reasons why he doesn't want people to come to his place to see them, and some reasons that has nothing to do with the dragons too. A lot of people with expensive reptiles are targets by others with tastes for the same. It happens more then we would like to think, But personally I would not like that especially if they are not even willing to meet with you face to face for the deal, or supply the parents to what they are offering for sale. Just my opinion.

I did not have a good experience with beardeddragons.biz. I purchased a dragon from them, and less than a week later he was dead. I asked a number of more experienced people what I had done wrong, and after some detailed questions from experienced breeders, I was assured I wasn't doing anything wrong, nothing wrong with my setup or such. The poor little guy just never ate when I got him. I understand stress and all can make them not eat, but this little guy never showed any interest in food, crickets, greens you name it.

I suppose most telling was that after I recovered from losing the little guy, cleaning and bleaching the tank and tank furniture he had used, the exact same set up was used for a dragon purchased from a different breeder, and that dragon is now about a year and a half old, and healthy (huge too!)

Also, this dragon wasn't shipped, I met him as I live close to him, so there was no shipping stress. My second dragon, the one now a year and a half, was shipped.

I'd say buyer beware...

If you can wait about a month I will finally be ready to start selling my babies. I held almost everything back this season, trying to decide who I want to keep. I will have about 100 red/orange and germans available.

But I'm done for a while with the buying. I'm going to have a nice group of ten here shortly, and it's been only three years, lol, and no babies from me yet. I just started with them as pets and kept on buying and buying You did have fantastic dragons this year yourself Brandon. You really had a fantastic season, and from the person I talked too your customer service went above and beyond most.. Way to go.. Oh I wanted to show you the growth the red I got from Chris is doing/ It's on the forum back a few days. Check it out. His dragons grow great, and healthy for me always....

hey man, yea we've been around here and there, been pretty busy with work and the dragons. haven't spent as much time on the pc the last few weeks. yup, new eggs should be hatching in about 4 weeks or so, will be neat to see how they look from that cross.

lol yea i hear you, we need more room too. You've got an awesome collection, very nice. Still waiting for babies from Candy! Remember, i've been on "the list" for a LONG time now!

Thanks for the comments we appreciate that. We were very happy with our season this year. Got some really nice stuff we heldback and had a bunch of really great people buy from us. Last count I think it was 170 dragons we sold since late may with only a handful left.

We will have another new cross of Ceasar x PeaNut next year as well as the old crosses and hopefully another one we are working on. I'll go check out the dragon posted below. Look forward to seeing him!
