SoCalSerenity Sep 22, 2003 05:22 PM

Well we have been looking all day and the crickets didnt get her to come down from where shes hiding. It was really hot today too so I thought for sure she would come out from hiding.. but no such luck.

I'm so sorry.

Keep looking for her. Look in trees, bushes, on logs, rocks and just keep searching all around your yard...
I would also keep trying with the crickets.
I'm praying that you will find her, -please keep us posted! ((hugs))

Tonight we are going to put a heat lamp in the bush on a stick to see if she will come out for the warmth

few month old iguana and 4 months later the neighbor called as it was sitting on their fence top, lizards are territorial and do no stray far, they have loads of plants and flowers to eat and insects. Our iguana came back very fat and content, none the worse for being loose for over 4 months, then repeated it a year later for several weeks also. We also lost a baby dragon in the house once and found her with the crickets a few days later.

Remember, these little guys hatch and grow in the wild with no one to feed or care for them, I know it is heartbreaking right now, but don't give up hope...... she is probably watching you when you are outside during the day.
