Awesome color and size! WOW. Great pics too. I really like that background you're using.

What's up with the gloves? Is it a bit nippy?

Mine's almost five but not growing much...probably won't make lunker class but a very spirited snake.

That's what I'd like to do if a female comes on the market.

That is a beautiful snake!
Looks like you've had enough of being bit. I usually have a couple hits from my rat snakes after feeding day and for them I don't bother with the gloves.
Gotten used to it I guess and thier bites heal up fast.
Bout the only time I break out the gloves is when I have to work with my daughters 5 1/2' and thick white lip python. I wear a thick sweat shirt too.
That girl has BIG teeth and a misrable attitude. Her bites take over a week to heal and man do they hurt. I've tried to handle her to calm her down which worked to a degree because she's realy calm now...but she still bites.
She's just relaxed about it.

I once gave her a rat which she coiled around to kill (didn't matter that it was frozen thawed). I forgot to close the vision cage glass door. I couple of minutes later I bent over to get a mouse out of the bucket they were thawing in and wham! She nailed me on top of the head! She had to reach 3' out of her cage to get me too. Hurt like heck. She's evil !
Mike.

Yeah I break out the hoodie for my carpet and my scrubs too. Just in case. I don't have enough time to try and tame down all my snakes with a lot of handling so they are a little skittish in the cage. A head bite, that must of stung a little. The hardest hit I got was from a small green anaconda.
