Pines rule! Bulls were a fairly close second and gophers were a distant third among those of you that indicated a preference (forum and FB). The tallies are as follows:

Great job man! Fun stuff. I know I was non-committed but just coulnd't help it. I have favorites several categories, just couldn't pick a top one.

Yeah, I hear you Brad and know exactly where you are coming from. For me, the pick was a little easier. I went back to the "Pit" that was a must have for me and the one that was consequently the first one in my current collection. There is also the bias of living within the geographic range of the type and the opportunity to see them in the wild occasionally. The rest of my Pits [a Great Basin, a Kingsville red bull, and two coastals (annectens)] just kind of followed once I had a keeper Sonoran. I love them all but that Sonoran is tops...

Hrmm I was really on the fence as well, so many to love. I do think if really pressed I would have to go with Black Pine. You can add my vote to that if ya like.

San Diegos didn't even make the list!?! I'll keep this news from my big SD female. She'll be bummed.
Great idea whoever came up w/ the poll. I've often wondered about the preferrences of the Pit keeprs on this forum.
