possilbly the stupidest question

I am having space problems. Is it at all possible to have a T ratsnake and a black milksnake in the same enclosure if it is 4x2x2? Im a bit confused at to what a TX rat needs.Ive been to Texas and its very humid and hot in some areas and dry in others, but still hot.
So if I kept the upper layer(tree branches and shelves hotter) and the lower part moist and cooler could it work?

The milk will stay low, cool and moist. But the rat might like that too, at least sometimes. Definitely make sure the rat is bigger than the milk.

Do not do this! The odor of the Milk (small kingsnake, remember) will stress your Texas Ratsnake. Just keep that in a Ratsnake typical enclosure..

It didnt register with me that the milk was a kingsnake.I mean I knew it but I guess I just didnt think about it being one.Well I really dont want to lose my rat as dinner so I will just have to stack a third cage up high and use a stool.Sucks to be short.
