Dumeril Morph question

Skyfire_1 May 23, 2010 09:39 PM

Hi, I have a few Ball Pythons, and I am planning to get a Boa or two. I like the Dumeril size and general disposition, but here's the question:

Are there many morphs for Dumerils right now, or are some people working on different Dumeril Morphs. Is there a good site that does show diferent Dumeril Morphs?

Thanks for any responses.

there is a T pos albino in Europe some where but because there is no CITES paper work they can't be brought into the US. seems like there was some dwarf, hypo and melanistic animals out there and a pattern morph but I don't know if any of them proved out. haven'tseen or heard anything about them in years.

From my own collections, I've got the original hypo parents, and siblings, and now some poss. het offspring. I've produced hypos a couple years ago from these animals, but they went almost directly into my freezer. Now a few years later I actually put some of this stock back together, but not holding my breath. The ones I've seen for sale either had odd heads or were runts. The reduced pattern or what some call patternless seem to be random, I have a male that will throw them every time I breed him to a female, but nobody that I know has ever seen any come out female, only male. Dwarf wise, I have proven females under 4, which was bred to a "pastelish" reduced pattern male this season. Reinhold had the T pos. in Germany, tried to import but his paperwork wasn't correct for importation, but there was a way to bring them in, I just didn't pursue it farther at the time because "Rosa" had not been duplicated and only possible hets were available. Now there have been others produced, but again, not here in the U.S. Check out the Dumerils forum as that should be a good place to get any Dumerils info you might want.

hi...

i also have the t pos dumerili and also have all the 66 % hets, that came out. this morph is just breathtaking. have all the other boa, ball and burmese python stuff, but this one is really one of a kind !!! you have to see them in person. forget about all the blue and black eyed lucys, the scorias (which i also would like to own) ... these gems are amazing !!! i have never seen these colors in snakes before !!!! in my opinion, the most underrated morph.

by the way:
export is possible - paperwork no problem. i already asked for export. but prefer to breed some more before i start thinking about selling these guys.

cheers from germany
