This is my first year breeding corn snakes. I have two females - both over 39" long and very healthy, however both have a high infertility rate. The first one laid 20 eggs but only 6 are good. The second one laid 22 eggs but only 7 are good. I've had this happen with Pythons for no apparent reason on the 1st year breeders. I'm wondering if this is common for corn snake on 1st year breeders or if there is something wrong with the husbandry - i.e. temperature, food source, etc.
BTW - the male is common between both females - not sure if he could be the problem or not.
I appreciate any guidance available so that I can try to limit this issue in the future.
