Off feed since October

SecondsOut May 24, 2010 02:41 PM

My 2008 male normal has been off feed since October, and has only eaten once dating back to last August. He seems fine otherwise (normal shed cycles, active, no weight loss). I know it is normal for Balls to go off feed for extended periods of time, should I start to get worried?

I had a male not eat for 10 months. Just monitor his weight. Some weight loss is ok, but a lot of weight loss is bad.

Balls are very common for going off feed for extended periods of time and especially in the winter/breeding months. Males and females alike, and as long as they don't loose half their weight, and look normal, you have nothing to worry about.
