Reptile/Pet Trade Statistics

Where can I find information on how much large the reptile industry really is in the US? I have searched the Department of Labor and IRS website and cannot find anything at all that pertains to even the pet trade in general.

You may want to contact someone at one of the reputable reptile publications,like reptile magazine.They seem to have some of the best info as far as stats go.
