great example of color change

Some of y'all may remember that, a few months ago, I was trying to decide which brb to buy from Will Bird.

One of the possibilities was this baby -- pic taken 6/21/09:

When I posted his pic on this forum, there was lots of speculation about how he might grow up -- including a guess or two that he might even be anery.

I didn't buy that particular baby. I chose one of his littermates instead, a very similar baby, because I preferred his crescents.

BUT --

I just came across a recent pic of the baby photographed above. I don't think Will will mind me sharing it here -- pic taken 5/20/10:

YEOWZA!!

Look how brilliant that guy is now. What an impressive snake, and what a huge change! Just goes to show ya how difficult it can be to judge the adult from the baby in this species, dangit.
