Okay, sorry, everyone. I'm still try to figure out the direction to go in as far as caging. I'm definitely not going any smaller than a CB70 for the balls.
With my boas, I've been leaning towards going bigger. I put a yearling 2.5 foot male motley het snow in a 4 x 2 x 1 high Boaphile and he LOVES it!
I was worried about him being intimidated by the size but it's quite the opposite. I swear, the little dude just LOUNGES. No hides, no nothing. When it's feeding time, he comes to the front and waits IMPATIENTLY to be fed. Then, right off the tongs like a beast!
I was thinking of possibly doing the same for my female ball pythons-giving each girl a 4 x 2 x 1 high Boaphile to herself. The heat I have on them covers half of the cage-it's the 22" x 22" option. Would that work or would it make them bad feeders by intimidating them?
I would probably still keep the males in cb70s.
Thanks again in advance, everybody!
Aaron
