I always appreciate a couple good rounds of "Where's Waldo?"

What kind of camera do you use?

daneby May 27, 2010 12:44 AM

Andy,

I now use a 10.0 mega pixel fujifilm with 12x zoom.

Dude...it seems like you go out everyday...are you a professional herp guide/photographer or something? Nice pics as usual. Are all of the pituophis in your area always so ticked off or do get them all riled up for the photos first? I have caught over two dozen gophers in my area already this year and I think only one was nippy.

Out here I've never found a bullsnake that wouldn't bluff, and very few that wouldn't bite The lone captive gopher I used to have was remarkably docile though...

Thanks!

I try to get out as much as possible, but no I'm no pro, would be nice though wouldnt it. Most of the bulls are pissy at 1st, but calm quikly after some gentle handeling.

Nice pics, as ALWAYS. You know, I'm starting to get jealous. Frankly, I've basically been off my feet since last monday. Someone brought a nasty virus into the house. and I caught it of course.. I hate summer colds. i just don't want to do anything REALLY. But I'm bored out of my freaking mind.
Though I guess I can live vicariously through pics like yours! LOL

I'm so jealous! Those rattlesnakes are amazing! What species are they? I'm not very familiar with the more western species.
