Hi Everyone
My boa is having diarrhea. He is eating normally, and still show signs of growth. But his faeces just won't take shap.
Any suggestions on this problem?
Thank you for any input.

Whats it eating?

Ruben is likely on the right track, judging from the water bowl and it looks like paper towel substrate, I'm assuming a hatchling? If so, and you are feeding pinky rats, that may be the cause, no straw in the brick and all you have is mud.
The fur does not digest and is what ties the feces together into a more solid lump.

Dave , how is Roxanne? I have some shots of Olivia.. she is pink!
Dave and Ruben are on the right track. More than likely your boa is under 6 months old and might be working pretty hard to digest the rats it is eating. We start all our babies on mice fuzzies to hoppers for the first two months and then start to switch to rats. If during the first couple meals their poo seems different it may be the transition but should not be more than a meal or two. If it continues take the animal back to mice for another month and go from there. Or if you are insistent on feeding rats and are using live or fresh killed, just pull them from the mother for 6 or 8 hours and let them digest all the moms milk. Baby boas seem to have a hard time digesting the fatty milk.
Thank you guys, these information is really useful and I'm not that worried now.
My boas are feeding on somewhere between pinkys and fuzzys. Still pink but starting to have hair. An other thing I should have mention is that I do have a few other boas in hand that's feeding on the same size but not showing signs of diarrhea.
I would just make sure to give the ones having some loose stools like small mouse hoppers for a month or two and I am almost positive it will subside. Hope this helps.
