Hints or tips on breeding?

jlsreptiles2011 May 27, 2010 02:28 PM

Well, this year seems to be the year I will finally get to start my breeding project. I'm going with balls and green tree pythons for now. Are there in hints or tips anyone would like to share? I was planning on buying the book that TSK wrote. Is that the only thing I should need?

I've never read their book, but heard it has excellent info in it. The best thing to do is read, read, read, and absorb as much info as possible. I went to everyone's website and read their breeding info pages. (Markus Jayne has an excellent pictorial) I purchased NERDS book and thought it had geat info in it. I also bought Dr Sewards DVD and found it very insiteful, but nothing beats the experience of raising your animals and understanding their behavior and witnessing it first hand. One things for sure it's very addicting, and at times very frustrating also, but it's worth the frustration. Good Luck! Chris

What morphs are in that pic? I noticed a couple of spiders, some normals and I think a bumble bee.

2 Mojave spiders, 2 pastels, 1 bumblebee, and 1 spider. One of the mojave spiders ovulated this week, and she's an 08.

Yeah, you can go to www.proexotics.com. They have a couple of books on the site that they recommend.
