I appreciate living in a country where I am:
free to believe or not believe.
To voice my opinions without fear of a knock on the door.
To live where I can choose to protest if I think it's the thing to do without feeling like a revoulution is my only answer to address problems.
We may or may not believe certain actions on the part of our leaders were the right desicion to make throughout our history as a country but I am thankful for the people that did what they thought was right and sometimes sacrificed so much.
Hope you all enjoy good times with friends and family and hobby this weekend excercising the freedoms we have. Just a quick look through the daily paper makes me appreciate we have a lot to be thankful for here. We are not perfect but it's pretty darn nice here in comparison to so many other places in the world. I am not taking that for granted.
