I dont have breeders but I have had a few in the past, I have spent 30 years in the field in cent fla, I collect kings and ratsnakes to sell on the net but I have real concerns about their numbers here in the central and south parts of fla, feds have wrong intentions and are protecting them out of existance, but I am always glad to see another brother breeding normals, I asked your question here years ago and some dumb kid answers "Why would you want some ugly old normal when their are so many designer albinios and cool morphs" his statment says it all. Personally I think breeding albinos is dispicable and tastless intention of the novice. here are some pics of south fla normal pines.

always preferred normals to them there FREAKS!!!!!!!
Is that a Southern (mugitus) Bob? Sure looks like a red northern to me???

nah.....its a south carolina sand hills from near macabee....no....north carolina sand hills near southern pines
Not to mean offence but the Sandhills of Sc and NC border is still Northern pine territory, though some mugitus blood does venture up there. Mugitus definatly lives in SC but not up that far, from what I saw in the maps in Connant and "Snakes of North America", Revised Edition: Eastern and Central Regions (Lone Star Field Guide) by Alan Tennant. I love mugitus and will try and get a pic of my faded girl up soon.
i know what she was.....its all i got....olo....i did a cell phone pic of an okeetee pit that i'll try to load up....or is that upload...
Bob...looks more like a northern...might want to get Bart to comment on that too.

Is that a "normal" or "bino" or something else?

It is a really cool Southern Pine! The clutch was about half patternless and half patterned, a couple with really red coloration(the other one is patternless, but has a lot of dark "speckling" on it. This one appears to be hypo of sorts, we haven''t bred any of them yet to see what happens. I have a couple newer pics of it I'll have to post. I think I have a picture of the "speckled" one on our website.
We do have some different Southerns though that are appearing to prove Hypo - the last two years we've produced cluthces that are half normal and half "hypo" - distinctively lighter than the others.

Here you go - that previous pic I posted was a year and a half ago - these are from a couple months ago.
