I don't think that last one is a hypo. The paler Floridana mixed in lightens the color of the eastern.

This rest of the clutch are all solid black (or pretty close to it) like the easterns. This guy will lighten up like crazy with some age....I've got a pic of a yearling somewhere??

Are the parents you are using to create some of these "original" crosses? ..In other words did you breed the hypo brooks into an eastern and then raised the hets up to get some of these?
Here is one that was pretty dark as a baby but you could still tell it was a hypo. As you can see the colors blossomed and it had a pink tinge.

my understading is that the originals were a eastern chain to a florida double het hybino. that next gen was run into itself and into easterns too. these babies are coming from the first group.
