There are a ton of color morphs people offer, look around. Look at axanthic morphs for grey and black and white.

2) Males age differs, as with any animal, they will breed when ready. Normally they can after a year, but I'd go with whenever they produce sperm plugs.

3) Gender odds are all up in the air, you're not more likely to get one over the other. 50% chance of each.

Hope that helps. You can always look up some care sheets for more info.

The other person answered your questions pretty much right, except for the baby ball pythons looking like the mother or father is 50% chance. They got it partially right. If you have balls that are codominant then statistically 50% of them should look like the normal ball and 50% of them should look like the codom morph. If you have a normal ball and a snake that is a recessive gene carrier such as the albino then the babies will look like the normal parent unless the normal is 100% het for albinism, but 100% het doesn't mean you get all albinos. I think it gives you a 25% - 50% chance statistically speaking. I definitely suggest you read a book on the ball pythons. It is for sale at ProExotics. I hope I have helped some.

If you breed a 100% het albino to a normal ALL the babies look normal. You should get half normals and half Hets, but would not have ANY chance of producing albinos unless BOTH parents are hets or one is het and one is albino. Hets carry the gene, but look normal. I would suggest breeding a male codom like a pastel to some normal females before getting into hets, or possible hets and hoping to produce recessive mophs like albinos or piebalds. Just do your research and get a better understanding about genetics. I've read tons of books and dvd's and bred balls for the last 5 years and I STILL have a lot to learn about genetics, but you can get the basics down after a book or 2. Good Luck!!! Chris Hall
