Monitor and my Rugrats

lexxxx300 May 31, 2010 03:02 PM

My kids love their animals so I figured I'd post a typical Sat although today is Memorial Day. It's funny.....Aiegg our 8year 100lbs American Bulldog has been around all these animals his whole life; it doesn't even phase him. He isn't even curious anymore.

Hey Lex, that water looks like a female...ever get any eggs before?

Not really sure if it is. Something comes out but it hasn't done full penile evertion. I'll have to get it sexed one day. I will try to breed here for the first time soon. I'm getting a room set up here soon.

How old is the monitor Lex? Looks nice and healthy.

Its about 3 years old now.
I have actually had one grow to this size in about 19 months but now I just feed moderately. I don't want fat obese animals. During the summer months I take them out on leashes one at a tim in the park in the early am. It is usually hot where I'm at and they spend about 30-45 min exploring while I'm just drinking my coffee. It usually draws a crowd of people and everyone always compare them to dogs. They always ask "hows your dogs"....lol

LOL I don't think I would like that much attention I'm not a people person..but its great exercise for them.
