I have 4 possibly 5 females that are gravid or so I think. Strange things happened this year. One snake I thought was a female turned out to be male and I was keeping her(him)with another female while I was sorting out some cage issues. Well, this female I later put with other males and she locked up several times last being 4/7. She is huge already. Like she ate a x-large rat huge. I have 3 others that bread at the same time(I saw them lock)They have gone off of food but don't have near the size as the previously mentioned female. Is it possible the large female was messing around earlier this season or is her size normal. Should there be noticeable swelling with just 2 months in. I have never bread rainbow before(if you cannot tell by the questions). thanks for the help.

Gravid female question

With the large one you may be seeing the ovulation or pre-ovulation swell. I've seen three with huge swells this year but typically I don't see that large of a swell. Dunno if the large swell means anything or not, will be watching those three girls to see what they end up producing.
A friend bred his male to one of my virgin females, one night, one lockup = 17 healthy babies. So, if timing is right, does not take much.
