GPZO Jun 01, 2010 02:36 PM

ok i can resist their charm no longer. im getting a pit and was wondering if there is a locality or species that tends to be larger than others. Ive always been a python guy so i want the largest pit i can find but if theres no real difference im definately going for a northern pine.

I've seen a lot of pics of large Northern Pines, over 7 feet. So if you have your eye on them, might as well go for it. A lot of bulls from the southern half of their range can also get pretty large, some people on here have 8 footers.
