Blocked up Baby Ball Python

prcapen Sep 22, 2003 09:40 PM

Lt. Dan, my new Baby Ball Python (~3 months) has not pooped in 2 weeks. He/she has eaten twice since its last defication. (Gets fed on Thursdays). Lt. Dan has also become very larthargic and has begun to shed. Is this normal? Should Lt. Dan have pooped within the past 2 weeks? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Soak him in warm water... Let his body do the rest. Should work.

Good luck.

My python only poops about once a month so I wouldn't be too worried. The lethargy is most likely due to the fact he's about to shed.

Two weeks is nothing to get worried about really... and since Lt.Dan is about to shed I would expect a present when he's done.

Just wait until you see the loads they will leave you after a shed as adults...
