New line of Anery?

stu Jun 02, 2010 04:38 PM

This guy came from 2 WC corns from NC.

I love how clean his coloring is! Not sure if this is totally unrelated to other anery lines out there, but good possibility. Will have to do some test breeding to see if its compatible with current lines.

I've seen some clean anerys - but never THAT clean.
It's almost like it's hypo too (ghost).

Great, all I need, another line of anery to keep strait...lol

Joking aside she does look really clean. Very little yellow and nice blushing on the anterior saddles. If that look stays with the line the ghosts should look amazing, not to mention crosses into ultra/ultramel, sunkist.....

See now ya' got me all excited. I hope it proves out as a new line for you. Please, just don't give it a stupid name.....

like -

charcoalarey?
gray and black genetically reproduceable corn snake or gabgrcs?

what is Anery up to now? 3-4? c-d?

Before everyone starts freaking out and saying there is a 3rd anery... id have to be a skeptic... are you positive the parents are wild caught? And there's a possibility that the parents (if indeed wild caught) could have been escapees or pets that were let loose... there is an anery-like wild corn from florida, I believe. I'm not trying to be the bad guy, its a pretty snake....but there are tons of steps to take and make sure of before thinking you have a new strain.... it looks like a regular anery a to me.... and if its a female (and not a male) you would have to take a few years test breeding.... beautiful snake, tho
