Just a few pics from the season

waspinator421 Jun 02, 2010 05:36 PM

This forum is pretty slow lately, so here are just a few pics from my Thayeri breeding season. All eggs are now on the ground, though I may have one more clutch coming from a double-clutch attempt.

The group of eggs above are a total of 17. One was an obvious dud, but the other 16 are currently growing veins. This girl laid 17 eggs last year as well!

Hope your seasons are going well!

Hey Aubrey, nice looking clutch! You are right about this forum being slow lately. I'm sure things will pick up as eggs start hatching and the excitement of "Christmas morning" sets in!

I only bred one pair of thayeri this year (both first-timers). She laid about 15 eggs, but now it looks like we're down to 10 good ones. I'm crossing my fingers that all goes well. They should hatch toward the end of June.

Congrats Aubrey....
Glad to see you with all those eggs......
I have 4 thayeri clutches incubating and 3 of those females getting ready to lay their second clutches........

I've had some infertile eggs this year.....I will give them another shot next year after a Summer and Fall of fattening them up.......
