I've never hatched out a corn clutch yet so if this clutch hatches it will be my first. Parents were purchased in 2002 from Kathy Love as hatchlings. They are both Normals, het Amel, Anery, Charcoal, and Diffused. This clutch has been a long time coming and I'm very excited. Was worried at first as they had little lumps on them but in reading below posts it seems that's nothing to worry about. Someone said caused by calcium deficiency. My female eats adult rats though and is a good eater. Should I be adding calcium to her rats? I thought I was doing good by bedding her whole tub in sphagnum moss. Turned out bad idea. She pushed it all to the front of the tub and laid the eggs on the plastic where some rolled before I could get them marked so some might be upside down in the incubator Fingers crossed I got most right side up... The last picture is of the pair of them together. Not snake porn, just snuggling...

That's kind of what my female did, too, as you can see from my picture. Luckily, they were all one clump except for one egg by itself which, luckily, was resting on the aspen. Best of luck to you with them. Here's to a fellow first time corn breeder!

Thats a great looking clutch of 23 eggs! The parents aren't bad looking either.

Nie looking Corns you have. You should get a smorgisborg of babies with all those posible genes, lol. It may not be so detrimental if the eggs roll early on. I think it's more important to keep them from rolling after the embryo starts to develope. Don't quote me on that but I believe this is the case. Good luck!

This seems to be my weekend for Eggs! The 23 egg clutch from yesterday looks good. Held a few up to flashlight and they have veins. Woo Hoo. Now to make my weekend even better I got my first ever BP clutch today from my het caramel x het caramel. 9 eggs, total weight of 976 grams. They are huge compared to the little corn eggs What a great weekend! I've hatched out two clutches of Cali Kings in years past, so these won't be my first snake babies, but will be my first Corn babies and first Ball babies. Still waiting on a clutch from my Anery Lavender female, she was paired with my Blizzard het Diffused, poss het Anery Laveneder male.
