Western Blind Snake info

BelleMorte Sep 22, 2003 11:20 PM

I removed a 7-8 in. Western Blind snake from my neighbor's house at her request and am looking for more info on the species. Does anyone keep this or related species? I found very little actual husbandry info on the web. Can this snake be kept in captivity? What prey does it need?

I believe the only thing they will eat is the pupae of ants, so unless you have a really succesful and accessible ant farm in your house...let it go!
